Temporaly solution to CefSharp.BrowserSubprocess

Postby Vesino » 20 Sep 2015, 3:02

Hi , I took the liberty of making a small application to solve the problem we're having in the latest version of the bot, simply close the process every 5 minutes " CefSharp.BrowserSubprocess " that are generated , so that the bot does not crash .
Closing the process, the browser bot goes blank . To see it again just have to click "back ". Sometimes you have to go "back" several times.

Here I leave some pics ...

Remember that it is only a temporary solution that I want to share with all of you.

It does really works, it is simply an application that closes processes (like the task manager) but automatic each 5 minutes, or you can kill the process hitting the "Kill" button.

I really would like people to try it and comment if it worked to them.

in general should work, however I must check why this subprocess is not getting killed

I know that there are one for reports reading which is never disposed(I could do that) and one the main browser

however i runned bot for 7 days and had no problem with browsers, win8 x64

Well the bot is definitely using way to much CPU for what its doing. If you can make it use less, that would make it way better.

Thanks for temp fix soultion.
But It is sometimes don't work.(Not kill automatic cefsharp after 5mintues, Manual press kill button is good work.)

Can you make some option ?

Can Set kill cefsharp interval
Set Kill cefsharp if CefSharp.BrowserSubprocess > X

+ Hard option.
Wait kill cefsharp If bot try logging or captcha.
Check all Task queue and Kill cefsharp if all task queue status pending.

Hi, I set a manual timer interval, so you can choose how often you want the processes to close. I'm not a programmer so it was easier for me to put in miliseconds (ms) 60000ms =1min.

I am still using this workaround. Great job for doing this. Is it still needed? Memory and CPU needs of bot seem to be less than before.
