Force sync.

Postby jonas » 06 Dec 2013, 21:53

I would love the possibility to do a synchronize now or force sync instead of waiting for it to do the sync-process.

The bot is having huge problems with the syncing atm.

The last couple of times I've sent attacks while sleeping, e.g. the cleaners hit after the nobles etc.

Every time I've been quadra-checking before going to bed and everything seems fine, but having a time between sending the attacks messes up the timing. I mean, sending a nobletrain works fine hence the 4 attacks are send at the very same time, but sending a cleaner at 21:00 and a nobletrain at 22:00 gives the bot the possibility to mess up the land times/synchronization. This makes the bot pretty useless to be honest. :-/

Actually, maybe you should add the possibility to sync with your systemtime instead of the TW server time as that will stay the same during an 8 hour period. This will also decrease the chance of a ban A LOT as you wont have to do the whole synch process, which is easy to spot as soon as they start using their brains to fight bots. :-)

I belive the "send and cancel sync" is what they will detect this bot with.
It's constant and every 10 min...

Also the sync should use time between attacks to sync not when it should send an army.

using system time is fault - it was in the past and didn't do the job

to sync interval every time is adding random time - for now only minutes, i have just added seconds as well, so don't worry about getting banned :)

sync may be messed up because of your network drivers and network load, please update network card drivers and be sure that noone blocks up/down stream by downloading torrents :) Please install the newest IE version available for your operating system.

This problem can be aslo caused by your antivirus which scans and checks all web requests to tribal wars server.
Try to disable antivirus as well.

here is proof http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WQNRMRRss3o that it works perfecly, even when i sent attacks with a huge time range,

i sent many times coordinated attacks operation like this one on above video and had only once "bad timing" because i downloaded a lot of torrents and down stream was blocked - for the rest it works like a charm,

i do a lot of snipes as well - and all is good

I'm still having huge problems on the time sync-thing.

It does the:
2014.02.22 10:59:58.729 → → → Time synchronization progressing... Current difference: -3599988 ms
2014.02.22 10:00:06.737 → → → Time synchronization progressing... Current difference: -3599995 ms
2014.02.22 09:00:16.882 → → → Time synchronization progressing... Current difference: 3599991 ms
2014.02.22 09:00:25.134 → → → Time synchronization progressing... Current difference: 3600005 ms
2014.02.22 09:00:35.081 → → → Time synchronization progressing... Current difference: 3600004 ms
2014.02.22 09:00:42.492 → → → Time synchronization progressing... Current difference: 3599991 ms
2014.02.22 10:00:52.621 → → Time synchronization successful. Current difference: -6 ms

And even after synchronization is successful, it's still 4-5 seconds of the time written on the bottom of every TW site using the browser. However, the timesync does look weird, right?
So instead of having a static delay between TW and me, the timesync messes up the delay and my attacks will always have either +/- to the actual "send time", hence everything will work out bad.
The last couple of times I've send attacks, I put in buffers so cleaners landing at 07:00:10 and nobles several seconds after so the nobles wont hit before the cleaner no matter how much the bot will screw me - that just aint pro! :p

your time sync is wrong, please adjust time settings in "settings->Time synchronization" set proper GMT Time, if it will be set properly initial time difference will be smaller like 2-8 seconds, here you have tutorial about it http://www.ultimatetribalwarsbot.net/tutorialview.php?t=6-8
after the video you have image and description about GMT Time

i don't have any anti virus and have good cable connection, thats why i got 0-10ms difference

GMT is set as it should, check.
Timesync is set to 10 min, check.
Troops available to do the sync, check.

I'm not using WiFi, and my current connection is 50/10mbit.
I'm running MSE as AV, but it doesn't interfere with your software in any way.
