Random Zoms (PLEASE HELP)

Postby C3real » 13 Feb 2016, 0:16

The browser in the bot just keeps autozooming to 125% and i can't do anything to revert it too 100%... It's really annoying cause when I try to click in something it admits that the page is in 100% zoom when the display is actually in 125%... So, it's all fucked up. Pls help.

Go settings, in General tab, 'Global' section there is an option which determines IE version. Try to change it and restart bot. Also install chrome if you dont have it cause bot is actually set to use chrome browser. Most probably if you dont have, it uses IE.

Yeah, didn't change anything... Still random zooming.

I have Chrome installed but for some reason the bot always uses IE... Is there a way to change it somehow?

Thanks for any hints.

what DPI in windows guys do you have? Is it 100%? Maybe that's the problem.

Also I have a workaround for you.

Go to Settings->User Scripts, then mouse right click->Add
Name it Zoom and in the Content put this:

Code: Select all
document.body.style.zoom="100%"

click ok, make sure it is active, now go to WWW tab, if you are logged in the game, click right mouse on any link -> Open link in new tab, new tab will be open with chrome in bot, you can use this tab to browse the game,

User scripts are only loaded in this new opened browser tabs. So if you want to have bigger map in game, you can make script:

Code: Select all
TWMap.resize(15,false);

I hope that this zoom script will help, just yo be sure that it is working you can always change to different percentage(I did it for 80% because my chrome is 100% by default, so it rescaled it to 80%)

Please let me know if that helped.
Thanks

Thank you for the hints hex.

In Windows 10 is a function to zoom. There was set 125%. I do not know why...

Know it functions perfect and with User Scripts I can adjust the size.

Thank you!

I also came across another fix for this, I'm on Windows 8 myself and I tried everything (presumably Windows 8 has the same autozoom function described above), but I simply rightclicked the .exe, went to properties -> compatibility -> Run in compatibility mode for Windows XP (Service Pack 2).

Hope this helps some people out!

Alternatively you can simply disable DPI Scaling in the same compatibility menu.
