Custom Userscripts

Hey Guys
Since the bot is desktop version again I wanted to ask how to add custom scripts.
For example the official ones from

The given tutorial does not work for me.

This is a great question. I was going to ask it myself actually and saw this was created. There isn't much about the custom scripts, but it seems like this could be one of the most useful aspects of the bot. How does this work? Are user scripts coded in javascript I assume? Any examples?
